    Optimal Compound Diversity

The diversity of the compounds in the compound library (as evidenced by the low pairwise Tanimoto score), combined with their lead-like characteristics, makes the library an ideal source for primary screening of your drug target.

The facility offers screening ready samples of compounds that can be tested directly in your assay. Typically this would allow screening at a concentration of 100 uM in your primary assay.

Compounds can be dispensed in consultation with the end user to allow screening under desired assay conditions.

    Selection Flexibility

Samples can be supplied based upon your own selection of compounds from the collection.

    • This can be a random selection from the collection
    • The full collection
    • A subset of virtual screening hits from the collection

The compound collection is not intended as an endless source of compound. Once hits are identified and confirmed, compound would need to be purchased and/or synthesized to further validate any biological action.

We can advise on the best way to proceed with this.

    Costing and Proposals

Costings are dependent on the number of compounds requested, selection and to some extent on the amount of compound.

Please be in touch about the costings via our Contact Page. If you would like to include screening of the library in your grant proposal, please get in touch.

There are many ways in which the compound facility can be used in the early stages of drug discovery and we are happy to discuss these.
